Dear Sophie, Dear all, Apologies for the delay in responding, since I am away from my desk for a conference. I will be available for a meeting on September 24, 2025 between 14.00 -16.00 o'clock. Unfortunately the previous day is anot an option for me, since I have other committments. Thank you and all my best, Hande Quoting Alix Hargreaves-Brough via Board2025 <siefboard2025@lists.siefhome.org>:
Dear SIEF Board Members, I hope this email finds you well and that you're enjoying a pleasant summer with some well-deserved moments of rest and relaxation. It’s time for us to start planning our first Board meetings. Carna, Tom, and I would like to suggest:
* Wednesday, 24 September, 14-16h Amsterdam time: short digital meeting in order to introduce ourselves to each other and discuss some current issues * 15-17 January 2026: This meeting will take place in Amsterdam or Mainz. You would arrive on Thursday evening (15 January, via Airport Schiphol/Amsterdam or Frankfurt), we have a 1 1/2 day Board meeting and you would leave again on Saturday afternoon/evening (or stay a bit in the beautiful cities of Amsterdam or Mainz). Could you please let me know if these dates work for you? Alternatively, we could also meet on 23 September instead of 24 September, at the same times.
SIEF will arrange hotel reservations and cover the cost of your accommodation for two nights. However, we kindly ask that your home institutions cover your travel expenses. If this poses a problem, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Would you please let me know if the dates work for you?
All the best, Sophie __________________________ Prof. dr. Sophie Elpers
